Babydev bait

lately we have been getting a few more babydevs, which is YAY! However, it has also been some time since our last babydev bait post. So I wandered around Bugzilla a bit, trying to find some things that might be doable by someone new-ish to Dreamwidth development or new to development alltogether.

Most of the things require some basic understanding of Perl, BML and the Dreamwidth codebase. Some also require S2 or JavaScript knowledge.

Bug 2461 - Screened comment email misleading
Bug 2459 - Comm invite filters saying the wrong things
Bug 2447 - Community search page should not show to logged out users
Bug 2342 - show the number of posts on a day as hover text in the sidebar calendar
Bug 2278 - Add "subscribe to all comments" to the community management page
Bug 2214 - Split /misc/adult_content.bml.title for separate use cases
Bug 2190 - Trim extraneous whitespace when auto-quoting in comments
Bug 2150 - Include layout and/or theme name in Layout Credit module (S2)
Bug 2141 - "Delete All" and "Refresh" at top of inbox
Bug 2012 - use a tag list not a tag cloud on the subscription filter interface (JavaScript)
Bug 1865 - Jump back to where you were after editing a filter (I think this might not be so difficult for someone who knows JavaScript?)
Bug 1809 - if comm isn't moderated, queue page says 'not a maintainer'

Oooo... I've been debating maybe trying to do some dev again, once my open uni course is over... this will be useful!

I could actually do some of this. I should really get around to getting myself set up to do so.

This is a great idea. What about adding something like "effort-intro" or "effort-beginner" to the Bugzilla, to point out good bugs for beginners?

We had something like that once, but I think mark wasn't too keen on it.
