The site copy team is mostly inactive at the moment, but there's a bit of confusing stuff (as explained in the parent entry here) -- go to http://www.dreamwidth.org/admin/translate and check that the string hasn't been updated on the site itself and not dumped back into the repo, then change it from .string to .string2 as described in the entry.
